Sing Hero_ Are Activision Going After SingStar_

Last week, Activision filed a trademark application for something called Sing Hero. Doesn’t take [[link]] a genius to work out what that could be all about.
I mean, it’s got “Hero” in the title. [[link]] Just like Activision’s existing Guitar Hero, and [[link]] upcoming DJ Hero. And it’s got “Sing” in the title. Implying that, well. You sing.
Could just be some craft patent-hoarding on Activision’s part, but then, it’s more likely the all-devouring publisher’s attempt at taking on Sony’s juggernaut SingStar franchise.
