Now this is dedication. Terry Garrett lost his sight when he was ten years old—so he learned how H25 to game in a different way. Instead of relying on visuals, Garrett started using sound to make his way through video games. After much practice, this method allowed him to beat games like Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. Ocarina of Time, however, proved to be a more monumental challenge—given the game’s complexity, it’s not surprising that it took him years to beat it. Garrett started his journey to beat Ocarina of Time back in 2011. Most people would have given up by now, but not Garrett. As of January 2nd, 2016, he finally did it. He learned how to beat Ocarina of Time using only the game’s sound, as well as ample save states.
